Hi Jeff,
Hope all is well..Frankly I don't really care...ALL I WANT IS 100 MORE OF THOSE CAKES!!!! Between me and my wife, the entire thing was gone the next morning. I ate almost half when I got home. I would have had the rest in the AM, except my wife took 1/4 of the cake to school. So I finished off the rest for breakfast. oh..btw..It was nice seeing you the other night. I've always had a problem with black-and-white cookies: I admire their iconic design, but as a fervent chocolatist, I have no interest in eating anything covered with vanilla frosting. So I was gobsmacked to find, at Orlando's in Manhasset, cookies that were black and white, but others that were also all black and all white. What enterprising baker, I wondered, had cut the Gordian cookie knot? Owner of Orlando's, told me it was Bohemia-based Jonathan Lord, a wholesaler specializing in cheesecake. To make matters better, the cookies taste great.
